PRIVACY POLICY

When you create an account, Nomor stores your email address, a hashed password, and basic profile details you provide. As you use the platform we record course progress, quiz results, certificates, streaks, and purchase history so we can unlock courses, surface your dashboard, and issue receipts.
If you tell us which subjects you are curious about and what brings you to Nomor, we use those answers to pick courses for you, and we count them together with everyone else's to improve the questions themselves. You can also answer three optional questions — your sex, your first language and your country — that help us check our tests are fair to everyone. Each one has a “Prefer not to say” answer, and skipping them never limits what you can do on Nomor. These fairness answers are used only in group statistics: never to pick courses, set prices or send marketing, and never shown on your profile, on a leaderboard or anywhere else other people can see. You can change or clear your interests, and delete all of your fairness answers at once, in Settings. The date of birth we ask for when you create an account is covered under Children, below.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe receives the information needed to bill you and to honor refunds, cancellations, and subscription renewals. Their handling of that data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Transactional email (verification, receipts, course unlocks) is sent through Resend. If you opt in to product updates, we may also send marketing email; you can unsubscribe from any marketing message at any time.
We use a small number of first-party cookies for authentication and CSRF protection, and we ask for your consent before loading any non-essential analytics or marketing cookies. You can change your choices at any time from Cookie preferences in the site footer.
You can request deletion of your account and associated learning data at any time by emailing support@nomor.ca. Some records (such as paid invoices) may be retained for the period required by tax and accounting law.
Nomor accounts have a minimum age: 13, or 14 if you live in Quebec. We ask for your date of birth when you create an account and refuse the signup below that minimum; a refused signup is not stored. The date of birth on your account is never shown publicly. Reading course Snapshots without an account is open to everyone. If you believe a child below the minimum age has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice or email before they take effect.
Nomor is operated from Canada. This policy is governed by Canadian law, on the same terms as our Terms of Service.
